The weather was mild but very windy making for an interesting dance up on the ridge tops as runners tried to stay on their feet and keep from slicing open their ankles by clipping them with the shoe edges.   "So you think you can dance" contestants could benefit from a few miles of this kind of hoping and twisting around.   There was some snow up on Black Mountain to meander through.  Flowers were not as plentiful due to a late spring.     The BoSho is a tough race for this early in the season.  Hopefully, finishers will be able to use this as a springboard to the bigger trail events to come.
