WHAT IS ABUSE
Abuse means the mistreating
of another person. Abuse may be physical, emotional or sexual. The word
abuse can be used to mean each of these things or it can be used to mean
all of them.

Physical abuse
Physical
abuse is not just one hit. It is a pattern of physical assaults, threats
or restraints. Is violence use to control another person?
Some types of Physical Abuse are:

Blocking you from leaving a room/house

Emotional Abuse
Emotional abuse is mistreating
and controlling another person though his or her feelings. Includes insulting,
giving orders, and saying things to confuse the partner. The emotional
abuser makes the partner feel afraid helpless or worthless.
Sexual Abuse
Sexual abuse is the
mistreatment by means of sexual acts, demands or insults. It is inappropriate
touching by any caregiver, any adult or any person who you do not wish
to touch you. There are many forms of sexual abuse.
