| Enhance the quality of your outdoor adventures by using llama companions. Now you can pack in float tubes to fish
those high mountain lakes, get back in several miles away from the crowds to hunt big game
(see Fishing and Hunting with Llamas), and take the entire family on backcountry
adventures. No more freeze-dried or dehydrated backpacking food. When packing with llamas, you can enjoy delightful meals such as, Dutch oven dinners, cobblers with whipped cream, steak, eggs and pancakes for breakfast, yogurt, fresh fruit, crisp green salads and delectable desserts. Each llama pack is designed to carry a hard plastic cooler to pack your fresh meat, vegetables, fruit and those cold drinks. Meals can be enjoyed under a large dining tarp with roll-up tables and chairs. It can be as comfortable as car camping in the wilderness! |

On the trail, llamas are true packing partners. They typically carry between 60 and 80 pounds of gear and walk along at an easy going gait, covering approximately two miles per hour and 8-10 miles per day over moderately-difficult trails. Llamas follow one another quite naturally. This allows more than one llama to be tied together to form a llama pack-string. |
