15mm miniatures used for Avalon Hill's Circus Maximus game
The chariots are from Essex, the drivers are Late Roman slingers from Tabletop Miniatures. The slings were cut down and the whip made from a cat whisker. The chariots were cut to allow the horses and the cart to be moved individually according to the rules. They are mounted on 1" x 1" metal bases. The track was made by drawing the track in postscript and printed in sections on a heavy, textured paper. The sections were glued on a 1/4" plywood base and the grandstand sections fastened on by screws from the underneath.
