The Mighty Walrus In the beginning, there were the four. They ruled over the world, with terror as their weapon, Names they had: War, Pestilence, Famine, and Death... War was a traveler of the skies, Racing like a comet across the roof of the world, He seeks out enemies, and fights them in honorable battle. Bored of easy victories, he searches for a close match, Desirous of teaching his skills to another. Above an icy region, where only the tough survive, He espies a lonely penguin waddling along, When suddenly a great body leaps from behind a rock like a bolt from the heavens, To spear the hapless flightless water fowl upon his Gleaming white tusks! "Amazing," thought War, "even I didn't see him Mayhap he can hold against me..." With that, the god of war roared his challenge, Leapt down upon his prey The walrus looked up, from feasting on penguin entrails, a rare delicacy here in the frigid pole... And quickly realized he was out in the open! Scuttling quickly, he made for his rock, and cowered behind it as War landed nearby. War advanced slowly, looking for the walrus, now Hidden behind a huge boulder... When he heard a sudden scuffle behind him, Whirling around, he fired a lightening bolt, And felt a searing pain in his backside, as two tusks Pierced his hide.... Roaring his pain, he swung about to deal a deathblow to This puny squat brain of a mammal, only to see nothing... He relaxed, and slowly chuckled... "You are a cunning beast, young walrus, I would raise you from your mortal life, And grant you speed, if you would learn with me, So I that I may have some fun in my eternal life..." "Cunning I may be, and strong I am, but speed doth I lack..." Wally the walrus pondered War's generous offer, and at last agreed. "Aye, I shall this post fulfill, in return for speed and life!" War laughed, and he dreamt of the day he and his son would Fight his brother gods and rule over them... Away he went, and took Wally with him. They began their lessons, War the master, and Wally the pupil... 100 years have passed, and Wally is at last trained. In gratitude and love to his father, War, He scoured the earth for fellow Walrus lovers, and stumbled upon the people known as Clan Walrus. He came to them in their dreams, and awed them with his power and glory, Showing them visions of death and destruction, While they swim in the blood of enemies. This group came to together and proclaimed their Love for the Mighty Walrus, and agreed to follow him, and learn from him, So that they might wreak destruction upon the rest of the world... :) -->Keeger, and some help from Lohrno :)
