Plasma Globe

Son's science project. Working but not tidy. Finished version is somewhat neater. There are many sources of information via internet search on how to build a plasma globe.

The red glowing object near the globe is a pixie tube. Various gas filled tubes like neon bulbs, pixie tubes and florescent bulbs would glow when brought close to the globe.

The globe itself is a standard bathroom vanity light bulb. Experiment with different bulbs to find one that glows the best.
