There is no itinerary on an adventure trip, that is reserved for tours. Instead of an intinerary, there is a list of items to be done or seen. This list can be added to and modified during the trip.

Young local guides are hired as needed. Normally lodging is selected upon arrival. Generally you use hotels, boarding houses, and hostels that are not advertised worldwide.

The major requirement for this type of travel is Be Flexible. Sometimes no space is available. When this happens, you ether move on or "Sleep in the Park".

• Travel by freighter.
• Rent a Jeep in Brisbane Australia and drive North crossing the Tropic of Capricorn.
• Learn to SCUBA dive and see the Great Barrier Reef. Link to possible supplier
• Spend a week in a very small town in the Northern Territory.
• Spend some time in a tropical rain forest.
• Canoe down a river to the Gulf of Carpentaria.
• Camp on the beach of the Gulf of Carpentaria.
• Spend a week in the city of Darwin Australia during a rainy season.
• Travel by sailing ship.
• Visit Sri Lanka (Ceylon).
• Visit Athens Greece.
• Visit Rome Italy.
• Visit Casablanca Morocco.
