Needlepoint Registration Information

 

Needlepoint for Beginners is hosted at the WHPMA. This site is located in Long Lake, Minnesota on Highway 394 / Highway 12 approzimately 20 minutes (or about 17 miles) west of downtown Minneapolis. As with all sites that host this program you are welcomed to register for more time if you feel you need mor time to complete the project.

When registering please leave:

  • your name and or the students' name
  • your phone number (indicate if this is home or work)
  • the program you wish to register for (Part I, II, or III)
  • please indicate which age grouping the student desires
  • your preferance for start date (below)

The instructor may call you in advance of the next scheduled program to confirm dates and time with you. Special note: Groups may start with only 1 person.

Programs Start: Mid Summer of 2005; and will continue Monthy there after

Age Groups:

  • Youth (5th grade to 8th grade)
  • Young Adults (9th grade to 12th Grade)
  • Working Adults
  • Retired Adults
  • Inter generational Groups (Children and Parents - regardless of age)

Registration Fee:

At this time it is believed that registration will be a two teir system. One level for members and one for non-members.

Fee Includes: Instructors time, and site fee. Students will need to gather their own materials for these programs (see Program Discriptions).

Metropolitan Transit Bus Routes:

  • This site does not have bus service within walking distance. What bus service they do have is over a mile away during weekdays.
