Mount Sneffles Reflection

This gorgeous little lake shows a mountain reflection in the morning. The mountain is Mount Sneffles in the San Juan Mountains of Colorado. Third place, 1997 USGS Photo contest, Professional nature category.

The 4x5 digital image will make a 40 by 50 inch print that looks like you are standing right there. The small grass field on the other side of the lake shows individual grass blades in the 650 MByte digital file. See example detail.
