Web-based images may be used at no cost for non-profit educational school projects and non-profit research projects by requesting via email and or letter and including a description of the use of the requested image. Permission will generally be granted in these situations for images that will be used in good taste and if proper reference is given. No permission is implied: response by Roger N. Clark is required before such permission is granted. If there is no response to a request, there is no permission granted. No fee requests for larger images may be granted for other non-profit research and educational purposes on a case by case basis. This appllies to digital files only; printed images will be at the cost below.

The prices below are for printed images for display purposes and are not for reproduction or publication purposes. Prices for publication will be negotiated on a case by case basis.

The price for a single unframed, unmatted, Lightjet 5000, Ilfo Classic archive print, with shipping (sizes are approximate, and depend on the individual image). This is a photographic paper process, not an inkjet output.
The digital print advantage over traditional printing methods.

Prices subject to change without notice

16 x 20: $ 210
20 x 24: $ 250
19 x 28: $ 300 (35mm only; typical upper limit
                       for sharp prints 35mm)
24 x 30: $ 350 suggested 4x5 minimum print size
30 x 40: $ 550
40 x 50: $ 775
48 x 60: $1300

Other sizes, volumes on request

While any of the above print sizes will show an impressive image, the suggested minimum print is the level of showing a really spectacular display, is extremely sharp, but resolves most of the detail in the image that gives it "snap." This is the detail level that begins to show what a person can see with their eyes at the scene; like "being there."
