mIRC OPTIONS HELP PAGE

This page put together by Gramps, Sydney, Morg`daTroll, and Vic.

This is the page you see when you are finnally logged into the irc server for #paganpaths.  The options are the second icon in from the left side of the of the page.  It's the Icon that looks like a little hammer and file folder.

When you click on the icon image this is the first option page you will see.

Fill out the bottom half of this page first from Full Name down.   Now on the top half of the page you see where it says IRC Servers: (Leave it alone):  Click the Add button once this is what you will see.

at this point the smaller box labled (mIRC Edit Server) you want to fill in the PaganPaths IRC Addy's in the first two lines of the Edit Server box.  You want to type in Exactly what it says here in this example.  After typing in the description: and the IRC Server click on the ok button.

Then go to the list in the right hand column and click the the + next to the word connection you will then see four sub sections click on options, this is what you will then see

You want your page to look just like this one.  When done click Local Info

You want your page to look just like this one then click Identd

You want your user name in the user ID: box, your page should look just like this one then click Firewall

You want your page to look like this one IMPORTANT (if using a firewall then you need to know how to fill this out most personal computers do not use a firewall).   Now click on IRC if you wish you can also click on the + at this time also if you wish to.  You will see this:

If you follow these examples you should have no trouble at all with setting up your mIRC client...

This is the highlight page if you put your nickname in the above line and click on a color then everytime someone says your name the entire sentence will be that highlited color, is handy for keeping the conversations seperate so not as confusing.

Do nothing with this page unless you have microsoft agent installed.   You do not have microsoft agent installed unless you  bought it from a store and installed it yourself.
