Wayne's Pet Peeves

Here are a few of my pet peeves and how I generally fell about things:

Just because you have a degree from college, you aren't smarter than one who doesn't...oh did that hurt..well too bad. Don't get me wrong here, education is great and take every chance you get to consume it.. But remember common sense and experience mean something also, each person is smart about something in their own way., so just because you have a degree, don't stick your nose up at me.

People who play their radio so loud in the car and have the bass turned up so high I can feel it in my chest. .Ya know there ought to be a law, something called noise pollution. One day the bass in the car next to me was so loud I almost went through the red light to get away from it...and I would have been the one who received the ticket..what a world.

The infamous doctor / scientist know it alls. Well don't eat this and don't eat that..what is to say they are not wrong..I am going to eat what I want, when I want, I I am not going to read every little ingredient on all the packages I buy at the store. To me their stupid ideas with beef, pork, the fat content cholesterol etc., etc..are the ones putting the real American workers, the farmers out of work….wise up and shut up ...please!!! Get a real job and leave me alone.

I have been in the Computer Operations field for a little over 25 years now, I feel that I can honestly make the following statement. "Programmers blame Operations and System Personnel blame Operations and Programmers, so in order to save time I blame myself for everything." This is true most of the time, but I have met Programmers and System personnel who know they are human and can make mistakes.

If you have to talk on a cell phone in your car, pull off to the side of the road, or turn in your license, or throw it out the window before I do.

Smokers, yes, I am a smoker, and this is one thing I know is bad for me, but gosh darn it, don't treat me like a second rate citizen. I do not blow smoke in your face, and by the way are you one of those non-smokers who blow your nose while I am trying to eat in a restaurant. Well there is a place called a restroom that you can use rather than making me gag. This is just as disgusting as smoking if not more. Did you know by smoking I am taxed so high that I pay my own medical. It gives the insurance stupid rip off companies another reason to get higher premiums, and it gives those high and mighty non-smoking people another thing to complain about.

So, leave me alone, and by the way stop driving your car, it is more dangerous than the smoking is.
